Diane Bull

​Since 2021 Diane Bull has been experimenting with different forms of acrylic painting and graphite drawing. Inspiration for her paintings and drawings have been derived from NZ landscapes, still life, travel and family connections.

"Drawing in graphite pencil or painting with acrylics are my preferred mediums as a contemporary artist.

 

I essentially paint whatever captures my eye or feel connected to.

 

This could be a NZ landscape, portrait, NZ birds or still life.

 

I'm interested in the interplay of light and shadows in my work to help convey the character or mood of each art piece.

 

Though, of course “happy accidents” are always welcome!"
